Dental Pod uses Ozone Water for patient rinses, procedures, and surface cleaning. We have recently installed equipment that will make Ozone Water readily available in our clinic. This not only reduces the chemicals needed, but also has many other benefits.
Ozone gas dissolves readily into cold water. It is powerful against infectious particles including bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
As well as being a potent antimicrobial agent, ozone water rinses may exert additional actions, including the modulation of pain and inflammation after certain dental treatments.
Dental Pod have a point-of-care treatment system for Ozone Water production that is TGA approved. It is reducing our environmental footprint by eliminating cleaning chemicals, and also improving treatment care for our patients.
